All businesses that join the Scheme must meet and / or accept the following obligations:

1. The implementation of the approved sponsorship for investment should complete the financial aid package 1 within three (3) months and the financial aid package 2 within four (4) months from date of issue of letter of approval decision. For companies involved in the financial aid package 2, Director General of the Ministry, at the written request of the applicant company and on the recommendation of the Evaluation Committee and Director Department of Commerce, may grant an extension up to one (1) months for full implementation of the investment. Extension may be only the implementation of the Operational Planning System Resource (ERP) and if the company proves that it has implemented the compulsory expenditure in the financial aid package 2. Time length of the extension will be determined taking into account that the payment the grant will be later this year. Companies should be in writing and duly substantiated request their before the expiration of the initial period of four (4) months.Clarified that the extension of the date of expiry of four (4) months as determined in the initial approval decision for inclusion in the Plan
2. At least one executive from each company will have to follow mandatory educational programs organized by the Cyprus Productivity Centre and described in Appendix D. The maximum number of executives from each company will be able to attend the above courses are three (3). If the monitoring of educational programs is not completed within the prescribed period for reasons due to the applicant company (but the failure of the Centre Productivity to provide timely release of company executive to attend these educational programs) should give written notice to the Office eDrasi (Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism), before the expiry of the prescribed date. The company can produce the certificate monitoring of educational programs at a later stage, the duration of which will be determined by the Office eDrasi. 7.
